As an event planner, I always try to choose items that are pleasing to the eye, whether it's choosing fabric for a runner that i have to make from scratch or, a particular flower that i have to die cause i could not find the color i needed , to the treats that go on the table for a kid's party.
Today the topic of our blog focuses on one of my favorite things: Treats for a Kid's party.....
Some of my clients prefer the sweets all the way others would rather more salty snacks, either way the treat table has to be fun for kids and the adults.
I share with you today one of the Diy (Do it yourself) treats . This treat can easily fit on your dessert table as it can be done as an activity at a slumber party or a movie afternoon with your kids.
What is this treat : Marshmallow Popcorn Balls, they are so yummy and easy to make. I am always looking for original recipes, my creative mind just cannot rest , (lol)...... Please enjoy the following recipe and it's directions, I am certainly overjoyed to share this with you.
Till next time, Stay Blessed ..... Gueldy ( G!Partyblast)

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls found on Annie's Eat.
Recipe :
Yield : 8-10
Ingredients
4 tbsp. (1/4)cup unsalted butter
10 oz. marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
12 cups buttered popcorn*
*Nonpareils or sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
Directions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla and salt. Heat, stirring constantly, until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth
Place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the top. Toss gently to combine and coat the popcorn. Allow to cool just sightly, then form into ball with well buttered hands. Place on sheets of wax paper, sprinkle with nonpareils and allow to set. Once firm, insert a stick into each popcorn ball if desired.
* I popped about 1/2 cup of kernels in the Whirly Pop and it was just the right amount for making this recipe plus a little extra for snacking :-)
*Nonpareils are a decorative confectionary of tiny balls made with sugar and starch, traditionally an opaque white but now available in many colors.
