Haven't exactly kept my promise to keep posting my blog regularly. But today i would love to share something i have learned with you.
Being an Event Designer is such a detailed task, it entails for your mind to be clear in order to receive the creative ideas that your profession needs. Creativity and Uniqueness is what sets me apart from everyone else doing the same thing. Therefore protecting this beautiful mind of mine is a must.
If i were to pin point what keeps me going , I would say my Faith, and feeling so loved and blessed. It is also very important that i keep healthy in order to be the amazing Event Stylist that i am. Lol.....
Taking care of your BODY is crucial, but your mind is essential. Everything is Energy and you need both your body and mind to be producing Positive, Vibrant Energy to attain your GOALS.
BAD ENERGY needs to be released.... Did you every wonder why people that apparently have it all going, are just MISERABLE human beings. One thing is for sure, no matter what you do in life it does come back to you and it will catch you when you least expect it.
That said my first order of the day is to make sure I have a good Karmic Pattern. This Pattern cannot have double standards. YOU CANNOT FOOL THE UNIVERSE.
Secondly, I take time to discover what will sooth my body when it is most anxious.... Anxiety will diminish your creativity, worries will destroy your day, your week, your month, YOU HAVE TO BE ANCHORED somewhere ..... it 's inevitable.
A very popular saying is : " Feed what ails you." In other words it is absolutely possible to banish headache or upset stomach with remedies straight from the kitchen. Many everyday foods contain nutrients and other properties that can ease common ills.
So when i have feel anxious, or overstressed as do most of us feel at times, i reach for a BANANA, Yup ...... Molly Kimball RD, a certified specialist in sports dietetics states that with only 105 calories and 14g of sugar a medium banana will fill you up, it provides a mild blood sugar boost and has 30% of the day's vitamin B6 which helps the brain produce mellowing serotonin, getting you through a crisis peacefully.
If you have the blues.... Feeling Sad just because, a 3 ounce of serving of canned white tuna ( that's if you like that) has about 800mg of omega-3s which reasearchers suggests may treat some kind of blues.
Feeling fatigued ? The fructose in a 4 ounce glass of OJ is a perfect pick-me-upper. Some studies suggest that vitamin C has the ability to combat oxidative stress , it may provide energy and the vitamin plays a key role in metobolizing iron, which helps your body move, energizing oxygen through your bloodstream.
Those are just some of my secrets to staying on course when life thinks it can mess with me.
So Remember stay Vitalized..... Keep your body and your Mind Healthy.
More than ever, parts of yourself will reflect in your business, for me I try my best to always be fair, and to work with heart and soul. You should do what ever works for you as you feel it.
Keeping myself Healthy is non negociable, and it should be to you as well. It not only means keeping my body healthy but also my mind. I exercise my mind more than i do my body , if you would believe that. :-)
Making sure you have a strong mind is where your success begins.
