Hi everyone............. It's been a minute. I know, since my birthday month, that would be almost five (5). Who stays five months without posting a word on her blog....
Me !!! I guess.... I am here now..... It's been a whirlwind for me and I am sure for most of you out there.
So now we are here in Quarantine, this is the world we now live in. This is our reality, “ A virus” has taken to our world and captured us.We are hostages, I am sure, most of us feel like this.
Never has this statement been so verified “ THE STRUGGLE IS REAL”.
Well yes, it is a struggle more for some than others. Some have lost their family members, loved ones, to this virus, those are the people at the bottom of the barrel, some cannot see their families because they are on the battle field, some have lost their jobs and their businesses have closed, some cannot function, cannot eat on a daily basis, some are loosing their mental health.
It took me some time to get here, to get on a schedule in this new Quarantine world I live in, it took me time to embrace it and not fight against it with my feelings of fear and despair. “ Hope” needs to be your anchor. HOPE IS MY ANCHOR
My advice to all is : breathe, accept your reality, and take it one step at a time. There is always something to be grateful for in a day , Find it and embrace it, start there...... It gets better.
I share with you today my daily routine. I work from home and home school three kids (3) on my own...Yup !!!, so what do I do to stay organized? as you all know being organized is just in me, I so miss my event organizing days ….. but as you can see NO EVENTS to organize, sad but real....
I say “stay organized”but what I really mean is "stay SANE".
A Daily routine to keep sane and grounded and focused is a must, because “ This too shall pass” don't get LOST. If you're still here your mission is not OVER.
My Daily sane routine (:-)
-PRAYER ( Thankful I am here and Surviving)
-POSITIVE Posting ( Post from my heart, and being )
-MEDITATION ( Whatever time I can spare …... 10 mns. 20 mns usually 30 mns) no pressure
-WALKS ( I was asked to join a 21 day challenge which is over but still walk everyday)
-YOGA ( sometimes if I can fit it in...... )
-MY GRATITUDE JOURNAL ( 10 things I am grateful for each day)
My main thing is to clear my mind each day. Be in the state of RENEWAL.
You will feel great, I promise. Stay focused on the good: your families, your kids, the birds, the sun, the rain, a plant, a pet …..... whatever helps you escape from drowning into a reality that will not go away for a while. Mostly be safe, be kind, and considerate. It's a time of reflection..... We are all in the same boat ..... We have to take care of each other.
