Overwhelmed are you?
Hi everyone, Hope you are all healthy and striving and if you're not I am sure you will get there. As for me, I am great, because I am blessed to be alive, to be healthy, to be loved, to be doing what I love, and just overall to have great plans to accomplish. I do sometimes feel overwhelmed of course by life. Who doesn't right? It's ok, believe me it is, to be overwhelmed, and to stay overwhelmed for a while, but remember.... stay like that for a very short time, always, always pick yourself up and continue. Even start over if you have to. Every morning I wake up and thank God for another chance to get it right..... That's what life is all about. So what is overwhelming in your life? And what causes it ? “Overwhelmed” usually implies physical or emotional exhaustion, in a negative way by default, unless the person experiencing these emotions indicates otherwise. How can this be managed ?
The Key to beating overwhelm feelings is being prepared..... Yup hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I use to be overwhelmed when I had to do laundry.... Yes, this is a lesser of things that someone can feel overwhelmed about, some stuff are very important. Anyway, I am acing it now, I do 3 loads every Friday, I wash, dry and fold and put away..... DONE!!!! So my laundry routine is : Weekly, and I do NOT, I repeat DO NOT leave anything unfolded or not put in it's place. This works for me. And I am loving the space that it has created for me. Somethings are more serious like balancing your life, being a mom and having to work a full time job, or even dealing with an illness of a love one…... Please feel free to email me or DM me about what is overwhelming you. I promise to get you the right tips to help cast that away. As usual I have nothing but the best to wish you all. Thank you for being here weekly. Xoxo Gueldy Patience......
Welcome to our weekly blog..... Hope you all had a fantastic week. My week was very good, if I do say so myself. It was filled with Progress, and that was satisfying enough. The most important thing in Life is to keep moving regardless of the circumstances. At times it may be hard and viewed as impossible, just keep taking that step or half a step, just don't stop, keep growing. Today, I want to focus a little on Patience, and how important this is in our every day decisions. Whether we are dealing with personal stuff or professional stuff, what can patience bring to the table? By definition Patience is the ability to remain calm when dealing with a difficult or annoying situation, task or person. As a mom, you can be nothing but patient with your child as he or she goes through different motions of this Life. As a friend we have to also be patient sometimes in order for the relationship to be the best that it can be. As an entrepreneur you are called to be patient with your new venture.... it can prove to be one of the keys to success. In general Patience is regarded as a very wonderful thing that can lead to great heights. Although it is absolutely true that Patience has it benefits, in resolving lots of problems, it can also be a draw back. Patience has better results than impulsiveness, it permits us to take a step back and to reassess the situation as needed. It also helps the truth to surface and one will benefit from having now certainty on the next step. It is essential not to confuse Patience and Passiveness as the two have some resemblance. Being Passive can result only in fall backs for oneself. Someone that is Passive will allow and accept what happens or what others do without active response or resistance. Patience has its props where as Passiveness does not. In my opinion this world definitely need more Patient people, more understanding human beings, that are willing to help others and stand by them in their time of need. So be Patient my dear friend and not Passive. Always reassess every situation, and give yourself a period of time that fits your need to do so. Stand up for yourself if necessary and make sure to speak your truth...... Make sure that there is Productivity while waiting. The number one clue that you have confused PATIENCE AND PASSIVENESS, is while you Wait, nothing changes.... Things still remain the same after putting everything out there, after giving it your all. Hope this article has been helpful for you or someone you know, as usual more detailed information is available, on the subject. All you need to do is email or DM me. I wish you all an amazing week, filled with health, love and of course Patience. Be Patient with your love ones, with strangers and most of all with yourself. We are all a work in Progress, just keep moving with a loving heart. Xoxo Gueldy The Bucket List
Hi everyone, Hope all is well..... I am absolutely amazing ….. and I had such a delightful week..... I worked, I volunteered, I relaxed, I took a down day and better yet I am over my under the weather situation …. YES, YES, and YES...... To that wonderful, honey and citrus tea, I spoke to you about two weeks ago. I had to add ginger, because that bug was just not gonna let me go like that...... So remember ginger as a natural ingredient is also good for colds …. This week I want to talk a little about the bucket list. Honestly, this word has been going around all week.... I kept hearing it and decided to make it the topic of my blog. What exactly is a Bucket list? By definition it's “ a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime”. Some will think this absolutely ridiculous.... Well I think it's fun. Why not make a list of all the things we hope to achieve before our mission on this earth is over. How is this list created? some steps, just for you: Choose an inspiring place. Developing your bucket list should be exciting, so find a place to brainstorm that inspires you! ... Choose goals that are meaningful to you. Your bucket list should contain items that are deeply meaningful to you. …
It is believed that balance is necessary and developing a version of a bucket list is healthy, focusing, and adds a layer of meaning and excitement to life and what the future holds. Having and working toward both short-term and long-term goals is extremely important . With all this said, I have not yet done my bucket list, I will definitely have to create one. I love to do fun things, this is something else I have to get to . One of the things I can say will definitely go on there is a tour of Europe, I had the great pleasure to visit the UK, on my way to Kenya (Africa) one of the most wonderful trips of my life, OMG, I loved going to Kenya, it changed my life and my perspective of who I was, I also had the opportunity to conquer my fear of flying. It was a 16 hr flight all in all. To all my readers that did not know what a bucket list was, hope you learned a little about it, I do have more extensive information that can be sent to you so email or DM me..... The Bucket List even has an App . Wow, technology is amazing. If you have not yet done it, go ahead and create it, and if you have please share with me your list, I would love to find inspiration for mine. Wishing you a splendid week Xoxo Gueldy |
