Each child has a mind of their own and interest of their own.
Nevertheless, finding out what your child likes to do is very important.
Encouraging a child's creative side helps their growth and well being.
There are so many creative activities. Most are : arts and crafts, sewing, building etc....
We will be exploring today creativity in the kitchen. A child that loves to be creative with food is such a great thing. A parent has the opportunity to teach them about the superfoods ( grains and veggies) while having so much fun .
Activities in the kitchen also develops organization skills, in order to make our favorite dishes we have to first organize the ingredients.
Below is a very healthy and yummy recipe that your little chefs will enjoy. It's summer we can have fun in the Kitchen as well. So let's get started.

Although kids usually don't like their greens, it's important to encourage them to eat healthy.
A good way to do that is to have them make it themselves, with a little help from mom or dad.
Getting organized before making our dish:
- Wash your hands with soap and water.
-Clean the counter top with a sponge.
-Gather all your kitchen gear and ingredients and put them on the counter.
-Scrub all the fruits and vegetables and lay them out on the dishtowel to dry.
-Prepare your ingredients, which means you may have to do something before you get started with the instructions
